General Laborer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:
They will be responsible for performing various production related tasks from driving a forklift to stage product, hand dumping up to 50lb bags of raw materials (sugar, flour, salt, spices etc.) into hoppers on a very repetitive basis, weighing out raw materials utilizing production scales and then manually setting up the machine to run and monitoring it while it mixes and blends the products together. They could also be packaging the finished product into material bags and checking bill of materials with customers information on specific packaging instructions.

All employees must be observant and compliant with safety protocols, good manufacturing practices and FDA related documentation of batch records. Legible handwriting and accurate documentation is critical. Very manual process (e.g., maintain company records via paper forms) vs. entering it into computer systems.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be able to work flexible work schedule (1st, 2nd or 3rds, up to 7 days/week and anywhere from 8-12 hour shifts)
• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lb bags of raw material for 8-12 hour shifts repetitively
• Accurate manual record keeping/documentation

Schedule:

1st - 6:00AM - 2:30PM
2nd - 2:00PM - 10:30PM
3rd - 10:00PM - 6:30AM

*MUST be open to all three shifts. Average hours per week is 56*

Pay:

$17.92/hr plus x1.5 for OT
