Description

The Business Banking Operations team supports BusinessBanking with the delivery of credit solutions to small-to-medium sizedorganizations.  The operations functions include processing, closing,documentation and servicing activities.

Responsibilities:

The Business Banking Credit Application Manager will provides support tothe Head of Business Banking Operations byleading a high performing team of operations colleagues, ensuring internal andexternal audit readiness, developing procedures and delivering training,process design, and data analysis.   The position supports strategicobjectives to effectively meet goals and ensure timely implementation ofcritical initiatives. 

This position will be responsible for leading the credit applicationprocessing team, supporting new business and portfolio management activities, and loan servicing functions.  The rolepartners with the sales and credit underwriting teams to insure a streamlinedand efficient process, resulting in an optimal customer experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of commercial credit origination and portfolio managementactivities.  Experience in loan processing, credit analysis, andcommercial loan documentation.  Understanding of traditional commercialcredit product offerings including SBA and real estate secured credit. 
  • Working knowledge of other Bank products, such as deposits, treasuryservices, and credit cards is a plus.
  • Awareness of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to businesscredit, ranging from small businesses (<$1MM in revenues) to mid marketcustomers. 
  • Proficient with Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.  Experience with banksystems is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability toeffectively communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Experienced with all aspects of managing colleagues, including demonstratedexperience mentoring, training, & developing colleagues.
  • 10 years of relevant businessexperience. 
  • A minimum of 5 years in Banking and/or FinancialServices. 
Education:
  • Bachelors degree preferred


Key Success Factors

Knowledge of commercial lending, SBA lending, regulations impacting small business lending.

Hours per Week:  40

Work Schedule:  8-5
