NIGHT AUDITOR/ FRONT DESK CLERK/ RESERVATIONIST

Wise Staffing has several openings in the Hotel Industry in the Charleston, WV area. Below are the job postings and the details:

NIGHT AUDITOR - this is a part time position with the schedule of working overnight. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. This position will be responsible for the overnight operations of the hotel, verifying the accuracy of quest accounts, balancing the day's charges, as well as assisting with all aspects of quest services.

FRONT DESK CLERK - this is a full time position, and must be able to work holidays, weekends and be able to work evening shift primarily 3pm-11pm and some day shift at 7am-3pm. This position will be responsible for accommodating hotel guest by making and confirming reservations, registering and assigning rooms to quest, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and quest' accounts and presenting statements and collecting payments.

RESERVATIONIST - this position creates the first impression to our hotel quest and sets the bar for service expectations, and provides customer service by responding to reservation request and customer inquiries and request. Responsible for handling a variety of call types and situations.

Wise Staffing has 2 different job openings in the hotel industry in the Charleston, WV area.

COOK - prepare, season and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods for the restaurant and catered events.

BREAKFAST ATTENDANT -take orders and serve food and beverages to patrons, take orders for breakfast from patrons and submit to cook for preparation, prepare necessary supplies and cold foods prior to openings, set up, maintain and clean coffee pot station- ensuring availability at all times, organize and maintain tickets and ensure all transactions are posted, roll silverware daily based on hotel needs, check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their food /beverage and take action to correct any problems.

HOUSEKEEPERS - perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain quest rooms, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing linens/supplies, dusting and vacuuming room. This position is a laundry attendant also and should be able to operate washing machines and dryers.

UTILITY PERSON/HOUSEMAN - perform any combination of cleaning and maintenance duties to maintain hotel, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include emptying trash, shampooing carpets, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.

RESTAURANT SERVER - prepare necessary items prior to opening such a toss salad and dressings, stock and maintain refrigerator, prepare silverware and dishes, monitor food distribution, serve food and beverages to patrons, take dishes to kitchen for cleaning, presents menus to patron, and perform all other duties assigned.

ACCOUNTANT - analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.

NIGHT AUDITOR REQUIREMENTS: -previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. -some college, vocational training or job-related course work required. -an associate's or a bachelor's degree preferred. -accounting background helpful. -customer service skills required. -some driving may be involved.

FRONT DESK CLERK REQUIREMENTS: -must have a valid driver's license and be able to multi-task. -needs to be able to complete tasks independently without constant supervision and have outstanding customer service skills. -must be comfortable with computer systems, office equipment, working in a fast-paced environment with a warm and friendly personality. -requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college, vocational training or job-related course work preferred.

RESERVATIONIST REQUIREMENTS: -minimum for 2 years front desk experience or equivalent. -requires a high school diploma or equivalent certification. -some college, vocational training or job-related course work preferred. -basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. -persuasive communication style and ability to overcome initial customer objections. -excellent written and verbal communication skills. -excellent customer service skills.

COOK REQUIREMENTS: -basic kitchen and cooking knowledge needed, some previous work-related skills, or experience helpful. -requires a high school diploma or GED. -some vocational training, job-related work, or associate's degree preferred. -may involve some heavy lifting up to 50lbs. -involves standing 80-90% of the time. -must satisfactorily complete Food Safety training within 30 day of employment.

BREAKFAST ATTENDANT REQUIREMENTS: -this is a part time position, the hours normally are between 4:30am to 12pm (or until job is finished). -no previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience is needed. -must be able to work holidays and weekends. -requires a high school diploma or GED. -must satisfactorily compete Food Safety training. -customer services skills needed. -involves some lifting.

HOUSEKEEPERS REQUIREMENTS - this is a full time position and may involve some heavy lifting up to 50lbs and standing 90% of the time. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. No previous work related skills, knowledge or experience is needed.

UTILITY PERSON/HOUSEMAN REQUIREMENTS -Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays. Must have valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 50lbs. High school diploma or GED needed and some previous maintenance experience preferred.

RESTAURANT SERVER REQUIREMENTS - would prefer server experience for this position and MUST be 18 years of age.

ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS - a minimum for 2-4 years of work related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed and work for several years in accounting to be considered qualified. Associates degree or 2-4 years of experience.

Salary: $9.00 to $11.00 /hour
