QA Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently working with one of our clients in the Saraland, AL area to identify a Quality Assurance personnel. This is an immediate need with a great company.

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities
1. Collect samples and monitor ingredients, products, and/or packaging and test according to established procedure
2. Monitor processes to assure they are operating
3. Document all results neatly and precisely
4. Label and maintain samples or products for retains or shelf life evaluation
5. Organize collected data for management review (charts, tables, graphs, etc.)
6. Maintain lab area and equipment in an orderly fashion
7. Communicate inconsistent results or observations to management immediately
8. Monitor plant for compliance with GMP's
9. Recommend methods for improving any processes to reduce waste, improve productivity, improve quality and/or consistency
Working Conditions/Environment
1. Work in a fast pace environment where employee is required to stand, walk, reach, lift, and bend
2. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
3. Employee is required to follow all plant GMP and safety standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Basic Math and Science skills (B.S. strongly preferred)
2. Ability to follow detailed instructions (written or oral)
3. Make and record observations
4. Efficiently organize work tasks and time
5. Written and oral communication skills
6. Be able to work and contribute in a team environment
7. Dependable
