About this job

Description:

* Talks with students by phone, in person, or online via chat or email and assists in the explanation of available study options or ordering of study materials

* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle and resolve inquiries and complaints when possible
* Resolves student inquiries and issues concerning technical problems with online courses or hard copy study tools when possible
* Solicits sale of new or additional courses and products
* Aids in the ordering, shipment, return, or refund of student orders
* Assists in the completion, maintenance, and processing of student course completion certificates
* Resolves escalated student inquiries or calls and determines a resolution within established business objectives
* Strives to offer above and beyond support within adherence to the company's goals, mission, and/or promotions
* Reports complex or unsolvable issues to the appropriate party and ensures fixes are received and tested
* Remains up-to-date on any company changes relating to or affecting the specialist role, support department, or its current and prospective students
* Advises upper management on course or product development issues arising from problems identified through general or technical support calls with customers

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year in a call center
Experienced with high volume calls
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
