Packer - Full-time / Part-time

Summary: Pack and wrap aluminum extrusions

Environment/Health/Safety/Housekeeping:

• Understands that performing job tasks in a safe manner is the highest priority
• Has read and understands department JSAs
• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines and wears appropriate PPE when required
• Fills out near miss" paperwork on any unsafe condition or action and reports any unsafe condition or act immediately to supervisor or EHS department
• Responsible for housekeeping and 5S in his or her respective areas of work or areas as directed by the department supervisor
• Cooperates and contributes to the creation of a safe, secure and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the company's environmental obligations and goals

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Packing and wrapping aluminum extrusions as required by the Customer
• Inspecting pieces while packing and removing damaged pieces and putting them in the scrap rack
• Counting pieces in bundles and recording onto tickets and production sheets
• Moving full racks of extrusions in and out of packing station

Job Requirements:

Must be able to:

• Lift 30 lbs+ and stand for long periods of time

• Work any shift, any day

• Work overtime (up to 72 hours per week) (not guaranteed)
