The Direct Sales team works to acquire new subscribers using a combination of face-to-face, telephone, and internet-based selling. As a part of the cross-functional team that includes Marketing and IHS (installations) Direct Sales works to ensure that DISH continues to grow beyond being the third largest pay-TV company in the US. Our Inside Sales Managers are key individuals that contribute directly to the company’s goal of becoming the number one satellite TV provider in the United States.  They have the opportunity to earn a substantial income through a generous base salary and lucrative commission plan.

  • Excellent communication skills; including, articulation, grammar, and persuasion.
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; 5+ years related experience and 5 years supervisory/management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

As front line management, this individual will be responsible for teaching, developing, leading, and motivating a team of DISH  Inside Sales Associates and Leads.  Sales Managers will supervise and coordinate activities to ensure that department goals are met and surpassed.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees and communicates Sales performance objectives to Inside Sales team.
  • Ensure adequate standards are met for attendance, payroll, performance documentation and other established processes.
  • Drives results through leadership, guidance, mentoring and quantitative feedback to employees
  • Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager including planning, evaluating, controlling and tracking against goals, budget, and timetables.  Meets or exceeds sales performance goals.
  • Properly analyze and communicate sales results, productivity, and quality.
