Our Vision for this Role

As a Senior Procurement Specialist you’ll act as a strategic business partner to the Real Estate and Property Development group, supporting the development of sourcing events in the Energy category. You will work with them to apply best in class sourcing processes and demonstrate your knowledge of our off-price business model through the guidance you offer during the vendor selection and cost negotiation process.

The Skills that will Make You Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years strategic sourcing experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships; you are the face of Global Sourcing and Procurement to many of our external and internal strategic partners.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy market and other industry trends.
• Strong presentation skills with experience presenting information to leaders.
• Highly analytical approach, leveraging their exceptional Microsoft Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience/track record in managing multinational stakeholders and suppliers.
• Oracle or similar e-sourcing/P2P experience/knowledge.
• Preferred certifications (any of the following): CPSM, SCMP or CIPS.

The Responsibilities You’ll Have

• Participates on cross functional teams in the execution of low to medium value/complexity strategic sourcing initiatives and the implementation of category strategies.
• Collaborates with Business Partners to drive value for the business, while maintaining high quality service standards.
• Ensures key Business Partner alignment and satisfaction.
• Prepares and executes negotiation plans and involves TJX legal as necessary.
• Keeps abreast of innovations, new products, price trends, market conditions, renewable energy sources, etc.
• Implements communication strategies to ensure accurate and timely flow of information to leaders, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Supports Global Category Managers in the delivery of their regional or global sourcing events for specific assignments including sourcing administration and event support.
• Identifies and executes against opportunities for specification alignment, process improvement, and demand management.
• Maintains fair, courteous and productive relationship with all TJX suppliers and reinforces TJX’s positive brand image within the supplier community.
• Identifies opportunities for supplier relationship management and rationalization.
• Participates in execution of contracts and ensuring compliance to TJX Approval Authority Schedule and Audit requirements.
• Stewards the value created by Global Sourcing and Procurement and collaborative teams to stakeholders and senior management to help reinforce commitment and involvement.
