The function for this position would be to design, code, test, debug and support applications for the business. Positions in this function are predominantly involved in
designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting
Internet/Intranet applications consistent with established
specifications and business requirements.Primary Responsibilities:Design,
build, and maintain existing web applications that support sales
commissions recipients and compensation analystsWork with the business
users to gather requirements. Understand user needs to determine
technical requirements Collaborate with
management and internal Tech Team to prioritize needs, help troubleshoot
and work to identify solutionsEvaluate
code to ensure that it is well structured and is compatible with
specific browsers, devices, or operating systems specific to the
project. Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or user
feedbackBe proactive in approaching a projectReviews the work of othersDevelops innovative approachesSought out as expertServes as a leader/ mentor

Requirements

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of MVC.NET experience 2+ years of WEB Development experience 2+ years of SQL experience 2+ years of SQL Server Management Studio experience 2+ years of experience in a Business Application Developer role 2+ years of Entity Framework experience 1+ years of Telerik Controls experience Advanced analytical and information gathering skills (ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data) Prior experience successfully managing multiple requests, assessing priorities and achieving solutions under deadlinesPreferred Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree (or higher) or IT certificationCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
