Position
Assembly operator / Machine operator
Shift timing
1st Shift :6:45am - 3:15 pm
2nd Shift :2:45pm - 11:15pm
3rd Shift: 10:45 pm- 7:15am
Pay rate
$10/hr.
Overtime Pay rate
One and half time of the base pay
Qualification:
*High school diploma or GED not required.
*Ability to pass a written Production Skills Exam (basic math and reading comprehension) -- a passing score is no more than 4 wrong
Job Description:
- Assembly operators will be assigned to both assemble and work on the machines including injection molding machines which are self-automated.
- Duties include trimming product, sorting, stamping and packaging parts either for assembly or to go directly to the client.
- Assemblies are generally 5 parts, and may require the use of hand tools and power tools.
Work Environment:
- This is a production environment. It is fairly climate-controlled.
- Employees are expected to perform at a fast pace.
- They may listen to music while they work by having one ear bud in.
- Comfortable clothing can be worn, and closed toe and closed heeled shoes are required (no steel toes required).
Additional Compensation:
After a candidate hits their 90 days they will have an evaluation if they are meeting or exceeding the requirements the will receive a .50 cent raise. When they are hired in, there is an additional .50 cent raise as well.
Drug Test for is mandatory.
