About this job

Responsible for scheduling and completing daily, routine maintenance among our 50 Chicagoland Jimmy John's Restaurant locations, as well as working with our Development Director to coordinate contracted work for Store Remodels and New Store Construction. In addition to general store repair and construction, work closely with Superiors to develop streamlined processes for Preventative Maintenance as well as Inventory Management.

Essential Functions:
1. Minor Electrical, to include but not be limited to: replacement or repair of fixtures, wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballasts, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.
2. Minor Plumbing, to include but not be limited to: repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, etc.
3. Minor Drywall Repair and Painting, to include but not be limited to: patching and sanding of drywall surfaces, painting of drywall and cabinetry surfaces, etc.
4. Minor Tile Repair, to include but not be limited to: repair or replacement of floor and wall tiles, as well as grouting.
5. Furniture Repair, to include but not be limited to: sanding and restaining of wooden furniture.
6. Inventory Management, to include but not be limited to: Stocking, ordering and keeping tools, parts and various essential items.
7. Perform other work related duties, as assigned by Director.

Requirements

Job Requirements
1. Must be available to work flexible hours.
2. Must have a good driving record.
3. Experience in the trades above is recommended, but not required.
4. Must be able to take clear direction and coaching.

Additional Information
1. Typical hours: 6am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. (As noted above, however, must be available to work flexible shifts/hours as necessary).
2. Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 (Negotiable).
3. Company Vehicle Provided.

5. Company Warehouse/Work Area Provided.
