Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Reports to work as scheduled, at Mercy Cassville Nutritional Services Department.
Prepares beverages and cold food items
Prepares snacks and stocks food items for nursing units
Demonstrates accuracy with tray assembly
Assures attractiveness of patient trays
Demonstrates proper portion control
Demonstrates warewashing (dishes and pots) with accepted procedures
Cleans floors according to outlined procedure.
Records food and refrigeration temperatures as outlined
Assists with rotation of food stocks. Covers, labels, and dates food items.
Maintains work area according to approved sanitation practices and procedures.
Wears proper personal protective equipment when appropriate. Observes universal
precautions consistently. Wears clothing and Health System badge consistent with
dress code, and attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed
appearance. Meets Health System attendance standards. Performs related duties as
assigned.

Qualifications
Read, write and speak English, follow directions, stand for long periods of time, and walk short distances throughout the work shift, push, pull and carry light to moderately heavy items.
Preferred Education: HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Experience: Health Care Food Service Experience
