Job Summary:

This position will report to the Accounts Payable Shared Services Customer Service Supervisor and provide support to internal and external APSS customers. The APSS provides accounts payable functionality and reporting to insure the timely, accurate and efficient payment of the organizations commitments. The Customer Service Representative will provide support in answering inquiries, resolving problems and promoting activities of the APSS.

Core Responsibilities:

* Provide prompt, accurate and professional response to accounts payable customer service inquiries.

* Resolve problems within assigned limits and promptly escalating higher-level items to manager.

* Receive, log, research, solve/answer and communicate from/to APSS customer about their inquiry including payment status, employee reimbursements, lost payments, and related APSS inquiries.

* Assist in the education and promotion of department activities and requirements including workflow administration, VIP Gateway Processing, P-Card and T&E usage.

* Utilize reporting tool to log, monitor and close all telephone, email or walk-up inquires.

* Meet or exceed all customer service performance expectation including SLA's.

* Support Finance and Accounts Payable information and reporting needs.

* Completes advanced accounts payable entry, audits and imports.

* Works closely with all levels of vendors and employees to resolve accounts payable related issues while maintaining high level customer service. Escalates decisions to appropriate individuals.

* Processes and audits accounts payable transactions including invoices, travel & expenses and check requests.

* Clearly and concisely documents non-standard accounts payable transaction processing.

* Adheres to financial controls/confidentiality practices and procedures.

* Proactively identifies potential problems, evaluates solutions and recommends appropriate solution.

* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specification:

* High School or Equivalent

* Finance, Accounting or related field

* Generally requires 2-5 years related experience.

* Demonstrated organizational and collaboration skills.

* Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.

* Strong understanding of customer service requirements and functionality.

* Oracle Accounts Payable functionality preferred.

* Prefer an Associates or higher degree in a business function.
