Be the business subject matter expert, experienced in business analysis and requirements gathering

Lead process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities

Lead and manage customer readiness activities and project implementation teams in process improvement activities

Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools

Lead your business partners in the creation, implementation and evaluation of Total Quality Management (TQM) programs
This position is responsible for preparing statistical reports and providing analysis on  Overpayment Appeals, Grievances, Complaints, Inquiries, Claim Adjustment requests, Claim Adjustment Request Rejects, Overpayment Inventory Management and Inventory Reconciliations for the Employer & Individual, Community & State, and Medicare & Retirement lines of business.
 
This position works closely with internal clients (Claims, Appeals, Product, Compliance, etc.) to create business requirements and technical specifications for the defined deliverables.
 
This position uses data extracted from multiple sources including production environment and stored data as well as from data warehouses.
Positions in this function are responsible for end-to-end business process activities - creating, controlling and improving business processes. Leads process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities. Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field or equivalent work experience

2+ year of experience in writing business and/or system requirements and business/finance analysis.

2+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines.

Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:


2+ years MS Project, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.

Previous experience with SQL.

Previous Healthcare Industry experience.

Previous Team Lead or Project Lead experience.
