LGC Associates is currently seeking Environmental Services Personnel to join our team at one of our many partnering health facilities.

One year of experience in housekeeping/custodial services preferred, however if you possess the right attitude and personality (friendly, outgoing, dependable, kind), training will be provided. Current openings are part-time, but can grow to full-time, longer-term opportunities WITH BENEFITS for outstanding individuals. 

The Environmental Services Team Members are responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff. This position cleans the hospital floor and all associated support areas. The ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the patient/guest is impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and adds to the exceptional experience for each visitor.

 

Duties will include but are not limited to:

1.       Room and restroom cleaning including trash removal - maintains these areas in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and foremost to provide an environment conducive to patient recovery.

2.       Floor care such as mopping and buffing; carpet shampooing, stripping and refinishing; some moving of furniture.

3.       Utilizes safe practices in the performance of job duties and adheres to established safety practices.

4.       Basic but friendly interaction with hospital patients and guests

 

Requirements:

·         Ability to read English

·         Reliable transportation is a MUST

·         Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

·         Flu shot and TB test – paid for by employer

·         Dependability

·         Willingness to work 30-40 hours/week
