PURPOSE
As an adidas Team Leaders, you are responsible for all aspects of retail operations within your store. Team Leaders are in charge of creating an atmosphere where customers are provided with an impactful shopping experience. As the leader of the store, you are expected to be a role model and inspire your team to live out the Brand's core values.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage store profitability by meeting or exceeding sales goals and controlling operational expenses
Manage service to drive sales by creating and leading a service-selling culture
Manage Brand and product expertise within your store by ensuring Brand and product training is transferred into skills on the sales oor
Manage store operations by leading the recruitment, onboarding and evaluation of the store team to drive a performance culture in the store
Coach and develop by fostering a team environment of trust, transparency, motivation and accountability, both inside and outside the store
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to maximize store profitability
* Actively monitors customer satisfaction and behavior to drive continuous store improvement
* Provides best practices to improve processes and drive store success
* Dynamically communicates a desire to learn and seize all opportunities to grow
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
* 18 months working in a fitness/fashion customer focused retail environment with a minimum of 12 months of Store Management responsibility
* Experience with various retail operations, such as budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people management
* Completion of either Associate or Bachelor's Degree
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Physical requirements include ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, as well as stand for extended periods of time
