Job Title: Car Washer
Department: PDI
Reports To: PDI Supervisor
SUMMARY
Cleans every PDI vehicle prior to delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Shine and clean all inside and outside delivery vehicles tires and wheels.
* Ability to work in outdoor conditions (e.g. sun, rain, cold, heat, wind, etc).
* Use proper eye, hand and body protection/safety equipment.
* Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
* Maintain power washer vehicle, gas usage, and other necessary equipment.
* Drive vehicles to and through the car wash in a safe manner.
* Notify Reconditioning Manager about any condition that could compromise the integrity or safety of the dealership, associates, or customers.
* When not busy washing cars, help empty trash barrels and clean the shop.
* Report any accidents to the Reconditioning Manager immediately.
* Will be required to follow seat belt regulations and Rules of the Road.
* Arrive on time and ready to work.
* Able to work in a team setting.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrives to work on time.
Follows instructions from a supervisor.
Interacts effectively with co-workers.
Understands and follows work rules and procedures.
Accepts constructive criticism.
Maintains professional appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a valid driver s license and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
