This position will provide strategic insights and recommendations to management in order to achieve profitable sales growth and exceed business goals for the Home Depot (THD) portfolio. This person will analyze customer and marketing campaign information and conduct strategic analyses to explore growth opportunities through sales activation, department shopping patterns, loyalty, rewards and balance growth programs across the THD portfolios. The position will also conduct segmentation and targeting analytics in order to optimize marketing campaign performance and identify opportunities to increase partner sales and drive balances. The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience within Analytics in the Credit Card industry and the communications and influencing skills to take concepts into market by working with other cross functional teams.

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Partner with business verticals to create data based strategies in Marketing, Field sales, and product development.

* Create segmentation models to understand campaign performance and optimize ROI.

* Leverage Analytics and models to understand customer behavior and ways to influence it through a variety of channels and offers.

* Execute Marketing campaigns by working with cross functional teams: e.g. Database Marketing, Finance, Risk.

* Work with local and off shore resources and provide analytic leadership and project management.

* Support Business and DM function in Audits and Business Control activities.

Qualifications:

* 5 years of financial services experience in analytic role is required. Private Label Credit experience preferred.

* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, flexible and adaptive to matrix work environment.

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required (i.e. Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Engineering). MS/MBA preferred.

* Proficient SAS/SQL skills and advanced spreadsheet skills. Knowledge and experience of segmentation, statistical procedures, financial modeling and analytic tools (SAS E-Miner, Knowledge Seeker, etc.) are required.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office including strong PowerPoint skills to develop analytic presentations.

* Strong analytic ability and problem solving skills to proactively address business questions with innovative data driven solutions.

* Solid project management skills to focus on multiple priorities and drive impactful business solutions in a fast paced working environment.

* Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams in order to drive optimal business solutions through collaboration.

* Effective presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize analytic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

* Conduct ad hoc analyses as needed.
