What we're looking for...

A Production Designer Intern who will work as a digital sculptor and production designer under the technical show quality team, in support of maintaining the highest quality of the shows in the attractions throughout the Disney theme parks. In addition to sculpting experience, candidate must have knowledge of Disney motion picture and theme park stories, a strong sense of the Disney brand, and the capacity to work well within a team structure.

Internship Eligibility:

* Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

* Experience in the sculpting of animals, fictional/fantasy characters, and humans

* Clean up digital scans of characters, figures, and animals for the production of new or replacement tooling

* Update show documentation of figures and characters as needed

* Plan 3D print jobs for the most effective use of the 3D printer

* Manage 3D print jobs and 3D print material resources
