Injection Molding Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assist Maintenance Mechanic with repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment
• Install, set up, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and equipment
• Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
• Document repairs in the software tracking system
• Participate with process improvement efforts
• Help with keeping maintenance areas clean and organized
• Participate with the maintenance team to provide on call support during second and third shifts
• Help track parts inventory and order maintenance supplies
• Participate with safety meetings
• Operate forklift

Education / Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with plastic injection molding equipment is required
• It is helpful if you have work experience with water cooling systems, central loading systems, desiccant drying systems, hot manifold systems, injection molding robot programming, hot water / oil thermolator systems
• College or technical school training is not required but is considered a plus
• Able to effectively communicate technical issues verbally and in writing
• Able to compute measurements, rates, ratios, and percentages
• Able to draw and interpret graphs
• Good problem solving skills
• Enjoy collaborating with co-workers
• Great attitude
