Certified Home Health Aide CHHA Live In - Full-time

Home Instead Senior Care has a need for two experienced and permanent live-in caregivers in Monmouth County, Join a team that provides care for those in need, while providing competitive pay and professional support to the caregivers.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming, bathing, and dressing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care

*Must have a HHA certification that is in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing*

Requirements to be a Certified Home Health Aide Live In:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Must have a current physical (within the past calendar year)
• 1st and 2nd step PPD's OR 3 consecutive years of PPD's.  If you have had a positive PPD - we need a current chest xray from your doctor with the results and it must state that you had the chest xray done due to a positive PPD. The chest x-ray must be within the calendar year.
• MMR Vaccination OR Rubella and Rubeola titers.
• It is highly desirable, and adds to your marketability, if you possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance. Given the nature of the job, if you do not possess these items, special accommodations can be arranged.
