About this job
- Monitors and processes active bankruptcies, including administrative functions. Ensures timely and accurate completion of the bankruptcy process to comply with bankruptcy code and investor guidelines, minimizing monetary loss to the bank.
- Monitors workflow to ensure timely completion of the bankruptcy process by communicating with outside counsel. May respond to escalated customer inquiries.
- Interacts with customers/investors and outside counsel regarding bankruptcy proceedings through written and verbal communication.
- Ensures compliance with bankruptcy code, investor, and/or mortgage insurance guidelines in order to minimize loss associated with process delays.
- May train and assist new team members. Resolves escalated issues regarding the bankruptcy process.
