Evaluates drugs prescribed by licensed individual practitioners for appropriateness of dose, therapeutic efficacy, drug interaction, and contraindications. Maintains accurate and complete documentation of all medicine-use-related activities to ensure appropriate distribution of medications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year hospital pharmacist experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERT/REG: Pharmacist license in the State of Maryland.
SKILLS: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
