Job Description
As a Combat Documentation/Production Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of films and videos used to train personnel and to record military operations, ceremonies, and news events.
Your training will enable you to operate digital and film-based still and motion picture cameras, video, and audio acquisition equipment. Some of your duties may include: operating equipment for broadcast, collection, production, and distribution of photo and video content; creating visual information products; performing maintenance on cameras and darkroom equipment; working with writers, producers, and directors; and following instructions of film or TV directors.
By joining the Army National Guard, you will be preparing yourself for a rewarding civilian career. The skills you learn as a Combat Documentation/Production Specialist will prepare you for a future with audiovisual studios, film production companies, radio and television stations, and advertising agencies. You will be qualified to pursue a career as a motion picture camera operator, an audiovisual production specialist, a sound mixer, a recording engineer, or a broadcasting and recording technician.

Job training for a Combat Documentation/Production Specialist consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and approximately 28 weeks of Advanced Individual Training and on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field.
Requires military enlistment. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Benefits subject to change.
