Benefits Representative - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• Customer service
• Fielding questions from employer and employee.
• Helping employees and employers reconcile claims.
• Working with employee benefits on a group basis for long and short term disability.
• Servicing their work site to help support employees who have been in an accident, have been diagnosed with a critical illness and/or have been diagnosed with cancer.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office.
• De-escalating employer and employee situations.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent minimum

Skills:

• Very good affinity for numbers -i.e., account number, dates, etc.
• Computer skills (able to move between multiple computer systems - i.e., an Excel spreadsheet and a website with a list of accounts, and able to find an account, obtain information from the website about the account, and then enter that information into another system and update the spreadsheet)
• Microsoft Office and Publisher
• Medical, dental and vision healthcare insurance knowledge preferred
• 215 license is a bonus
