JOIN US AS A SR PROCESS ENGINEERING ANALYST About This OpportunityProcess Engineer Analyst, will work alongside team members from the business, to understand current situation, identify drivers for improvement, analyze root causes of performance gaps, processes as part of the deployment of the lean system to a process or business area (e.g. business areas include: Merchandising, Stores, Supply Chain, and Business Support). As a Analyst, you'll take the lead as you...�Take a hands-on approach to ensure the diagnostic, design and implementation of Lean tools within the business is performed to high standard and consistency with Target's Operational Excellence program�Lead workstreams as part of process diagnostics and design to identify impactful opportunities for operational improvements across end to end value streams�Analytic - gather information and perform data analyses, information integrity assessment�Facilitation - lead small and large groups (junior to senior management)�Training - deliver training to all levels, as an Operational Excellence Expert�Utilizes problem solving efforts on key projects to improve quality, reduce cost and eliminate waste�Help run working sessions with business stakeholders that drive to conclusions, agreement and outcomes�Analyze project metrics and creates reports on process performance against project initiatives and goals to support the businesses objectives�Translate business needs into requirements, respecting a guest-centric perspective design vision�Coach process teams and on the standard lean systems, tools, techniques, mindsets and behaviors�Become a Subject Matter Expert over the implementation of projects/initiatives in Target's Operational Excellence practices, development of frameworks, methodology design, tool suite selection, etc.�May coach senior management and client teams in the use of practice methodologies and tools�May help conduct job interviews of potential new team members as well as Practitioners nominated by the business�Working with the Director of Operational Excellence, develops and executes detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates resource plans, and status reports�Provide leaders with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives�Perform other duties as assigned or required RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related degree3+ years of work experience in IE (Process Improvement) fieldGreen Belt Certified or demonstrated knowledge of Lean or Six SigmaWilling to take risks, challenge the status quo and work under ambiguous circumstancesAble to use data to influence senior leaders and defend his/her perspectiveAbility to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and results, and drive toward insight and solutionsStrong problem solving and analytic skills (e.g. can conduct root cause analysis, make recommendations, and track resultsStrong written, oral, communication and presentation skills required (including comfort with Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to build a strong network within Target; has the ability to leverage resources and relationships to get things doneEmpathetic; ability to inspire team members and leaders to achieve resultsCompetent in project management; has the ability to manage tight deadlinesPassionate about leading process improvement and applying lean techniques in different environments to deliver greater value to the guestStrong interpersonal skills (listening and communication) characterized by effective interactions with a diverse range of internal and external constituents, stakeholders, and audiences.Strong influencing skills together with relationship building skillsDesire to learn new capabilities and enable others to do the sameAbility to influence others and manage difficult situationsAwareness of and willingness to overcome the cultural challenges in every lean projectDESIRED REQUIREMENTSAdvanced degreeDemonstrated ability to coach and train all levels of leadersWork experience in an influential role (e.g., consultant)Work experience in Retail industryFamiliar with challenges around driving change within an organizationGood understanding of customer centricity conceptsIf interested, please apply online at https://track.talentbrew.com?jobmediaid=203976&typeid=1
