We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Senior Robotics Automation Developer with the ability to develop intermediate to advanced level solutions using the OpenSpan (Pega Robotics) application suite. Although the chosen candidate will be coding in C#.NET, this is a great opportunity for an experienced C#.NET, Java, and / or Pega Developer to learn this innovative technology and be part of our Robotics Automation Team!
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints
Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team
Most often directed by a capable LBA or Engagement Manager whose job it is to clearly define both the functional requirements and the detailed design of the project
This role becomes the key point of responsibility in developing the OpenSpan (Pega Robotics) Solution
Works in a collaborative effort with the project team to develop, test, implement and support recommended solutions using the OpenSpan Platform
Provides knowledge and expertise in the development and design of the Solution screens to optimize end user experience
Responsible for unit testing more complex individual and team deliverables based on established test plans
Responsible for ensuring an efficient integration of programming deliverables timely builds and overall code quality
Contributes to the delivery of new applications and to the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications with shared responsibility for the technical issues
Capable of addressing more complex configuration management tasks

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology / engineering degree, OR equivalent industry experience
7+ years of experience working with enterprise-class software as a senior programmer/analyst with experience in C# .NET, Java, and or Pega with a strong background in OO Frameworks
Experience in HTML5
Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience or similar tools with Continuous Integration
Agile methodologies and Scrum / Kanban Experience
Ability to organize and facilitate discussions with 10+ people (all levels)
Strong oral and written communications
Demonstrated success designing and building high-quality commercial software applications
Understanding of SOA design principles
Working knowledge of APIs
Preferred Qualifications:

OpenSpan (Pega Robotics) experience or other similar Robotics Automation Tools like Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere
Successfully completed the OpenSpan Core certification process and has worked on multiple OpenSpan project engagements, both as an individual contributor and as a development team lead.
Experience with other Automation technologies like UI Path,Verastream or Selenium
Strong background in .NET Frameworks, Visual Studio 2015
ATDD experience with tools like SpecFlow or similar
Experience in the healthcare industry
