About this job

This person will be responsible for centralizing the PO system in either Quickbooks or another inventory management system. They may move away from Quickbooks but that's what they're currently using.

They will work with the plant manager and accounting to plan quantities and write new PO's

When a purchase order is placed, they'll follow up to get POs confirmed and adjust pricing.

They will receive the POs in their system

Follow up with vendors about lead times and make sure they're hitting delivery dates.

Work with vendors to get quotes and input data into PO system.

Price check invoices against orders and entering them into Quickbooks.

Candidates need to work well in the office culture and be a team player.
They'll be expected to analyze all purchase orders and centralize them in the new system.

Top Must Haves:
1. 5+ years of buying experience
2. College Degree
3. Excel skills

Nice to Haves:
1. Quickbooks experience
2. SAP experience
3. Inventory management
