We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our American Fork, Utah - based team. This is an exciting position in a fast moving project that requires the ability of candidates to hit the ground running. A successful Software Engineer will posess the following:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5+ years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 or more years of experience with Linux operating systems (CentOS and Ubuntu).
- 5 or more years of experience with scripting languages (Python, PHP, or Ruby).
- 5 or more years of experience with software development in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of network protocols and Internet protocols (HTTP).
- Experience with web server setup and configuration (Apache, Nginx).
- Experience with Open Source monitoring solutions (Nagios,Zenoss).
- Ability to identify areas that can be automated and create solutions that are scalable and highly reliable.
- Ability to design complete robust systems that will be used to support a 24x7 operations and be the central point for all monitoring of the service.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
- Design, create and maintain solutions used to monitor production services.
- Work closely with other groups to define requirements for monitoring solutions developed internally.
- Develop applications used by Production Operations that will help assist in the running of a successful 24x7 service.
