Job Description- Electrical Assembly
Summary
Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks relating to the construction, installation and necessary repair of electrical systems for the assembly of heavy mobile equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Properly utilizes a variety of hand tools, tape measure, Volt-Ohm Meter and other electrician’s implements.
Builds, installs and/or repairs as necessary a variety of electrical components to include junction boxes, data plates, switches, relays, resistors, cable assemblies, wiring harness assemblies and other electrical assemblies and systems.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning parts, assemblies and systems to diagnose problem and correct/repair as necessary.
Read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints and other drawings and instructional material.
Educations and/or Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of electrical experience required.
Must be experienced in reading and following schematics for harness wiring and installation of electrical systems.
DC experience preferred.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and heavy equipment manufacturing experience considered a plus.
Position Pays $16.75 per hour.
