About this job

Purpose:
To assist in the development of new and existing markets, maintain product and training consistency from state to state as directed by the Director of Restaurant Management.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop an appropriate labor and food cost in each of the FFG owned Kneaders
• Develop ideas and create new strategies for FFG owned stores in the areas of labor cost, foods cost, employee retention, and sale’s growth
• Respond to and follow up store procedure inquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits
• Provide each store with a monthly compliance/evaluation report helping develop the brand
• Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in FFG owned stores
• Implementation of new systems and procedures to ensure consistency in ALL FFG owned stores to the “Kneader’s Way.”
• Liaise and attend meetings with corporate Kneaders functions; other company functions necessary to perform duties, aid business, and organizational development
• Assist with any other need involved with the day-to-day operations as required by upper management
• Territory will include FFG owned stores in Utah, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada
• Manage and motivate staff, recruit new executives, train and develop staff, according to company policies and employment laws, and ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievance, etc.)
• Coordinate monthly meetings for your department and visit each state to ensure we consistent across the brand, providing relevant management information to the DORM
• Reliable and predictable attendance

The Executive Pastry Chef reports directly to the Director of Restaurant Management.

Requirements

Job Requirements
* A certified Pastry Chef with a minimum of 9 months experience in a Kneaders Bakery or 2 months of hands on training with a certified
Executive Pastry Chef.
* A thorough understanding of what it means to delight the customer in a way that creates loyalty
* A thorough understanding of the Kneaders Systems
* A thorough understanding of the menu
* A thorough understanding of all Pastry Policies and Procedures
* Thorough understanding of the Pastry Creed
