Position will require face to face interaction with patients. The Pharmacy Clerk will be working in the front end pharmacy. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m. - 2p.m.). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 650 N NELLIS BLVD LAS VEGAS, NV 89110Primary Responsibilities:

Processes incoming mail from Optum RX members related to pharmacy orders and actions to include sorting, prepping orders and formatting paperwork.
Verify all required member personal and prescription information and completes data entry/updates into appropriate system
Contacts members for needed information related to their pharmacy orders; request payment information from members
Verifies and apply payment and/or benefit plan information to members pharmacy orders
Submit/place orders by sending outgoing faxes for prescriptions
Review pharmacy orders to determine if follow up is required or to identify appropriate department for routing

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and learning new computer programs
All new hires will be required to successful complete Pharmacy Operations training classes and demonstrate proficiency of the materialSoft Skills:

Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
