MERCHANDISING EXECUTION SUPERVISOR - NON TRAVEL

POSITION PURPOSE

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Store Merchandise Presentation
-Maintain, straighten and clean shelves, fixtures, displays and product to make them shoppable and visually appealing
-Execute approved projects from vendors and MET leadership such as building displays and setting up holiday/seasonal merchandise by reading and interpreting instructions.
-Maintain and install material/signage
-Assemble product displays and fixtures using basic hand tools
-Ensure remote cross merchandise locations (side box, side caps, clip strips, race track) are filled (according to map and MET assignments)
-Perform focused packdown (bringing products down from overhead storage) on low stock and out of-stock
products on the shelf
MET Compliance
-Read and interpret directions (planograms) to ensure set compliance
-Maintain up to date paperwork that coordinates with the MET service standards (e.g. Bay Service Record)
-Follow safety procedures taught in training and communicated by leadership
Customer Service
-Answer questions regarding the store and products for the customers
-Partner with store associates to find necessary products to fit the customers' needs
NATURE AND SCOPE
Merchandising Execution Associates report to the Merchandising Position reports to Execution Managers, and take daily
direction from Merchandising Execution Area Supervisors.
No direct responsibility for supervising others.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving merchandise
Climbing on a ladder while carrying merchandise
Frequent lifting of light to moderate weight (up to 20 pounds)
Heavy lifting with or without assistance (up to 50 pounds)
Identifying and reading reports, tickets and UPC labels
Continuous standing or walkingMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Physical Requirements:
Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in retail merchandising service industry or working directly for large scale retailer.
Basic computer skills with knowledge of web-based applications.
Experience working on teams, with heavy reliance on team work to accomplish goals.
Knowledge of lift equipment, tools and procedures necessary to do job successfully.
