Join us and start doing your life's best work.SM As a Healthcare Claims Testing Analyst, you would work as a part of a dynamic team involved with software, web, portal, application, and other testing for new systems and / or enhancements with a focus on both manual and / or automated testing tools, test script and test plan creation and maintenance, defect tracking and reporting.Primary Responsibilities:Test plan, test case, and test script creation and execution including data entry to claim adjudicationRequirements analysis and test scope estimationEnvironment validationInvestigate issues and provide written analysisDefect and trend tracking, reporting and analysisUse of Quality Auditing methodology, processes including manual claim auditsQuality plan analysis in Application Lifecycle ManagementTesting efforts may include: unit, system, manual, black box, white box, automation, load, end - to - end, SOPs and other testingUtilize solid analytic skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot basic system configuration issuesUnderstand customer needs and requirements, design relevant tests, deliver results on time, and communicate outcomes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel – create claim tester workbooks, filter information, input claim results, and move fluently through the tester workbook.Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word – create documents and provide clear and concise communication to business partners.1+ years of Claims Testing experience with working knowledge of both HICF and UB Forms types2+ years in a technical or metrics based environment; specifically, FACETS Claim experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher)Experience in Microsoft AccessUnderstanding of the basic mechanics of testing and claim auditingUnderstanding of Healthcare Benefit Principles and Medical TerminologyMedical Claim Adjustment experienceExperience working with Microsoft SharePointPrevious Healthcare industry experiencePrevious experience with HP Application Lifecycle ManagementCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
