2nd shift Fabrication - Full-time / Part-time

PrideStaff is currently seeking multiple candidates to fill General Labor FABRICATION positions with our client in University Park.

These positions are temp-to-hire, with insurance and OT available!

1st shift (5:30am-3:00pm M-F) - $10.50/hour

2nd shift (3:15pm-12:45am M-F) - $11.50/hour

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Simple parts fabrication to production specifications using a shear, punch press, coldsaw, drill press, grinder, notcher, ironworker press, and simple hand tools.
• Internet order fulfillment: Order Pulling. Gather all of the materials for each product on a ticket, cut to length as needed, and deliver to the assigned Welder.
• Operate a manual pallet jack.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure accurately. Must be able to pass a pre-hire basic tape measure test. Need to be able to measure parts accurately down to 1/8".
• Ability to read and understand simple parts drawings.
• Work effectively individually or as a team.
• Ability to lift, move and handle 50 pounds frequently during the workday.
• Ability to lift, move and handle 75 pounds occasionally during the workday.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools.
• Ability to bend and reach, push and pull to perform various types of manual labor.
