Our Vision for this Role
We are looking for a HVAC Field Engineer to oversee all aspects of capital HVAC and roofing replacement projects. This will include assessing equipment, and making cost effective decisions related to repair, replacement, and redesign. Assists with the resolution of all building problems of a technical nature that are escalated from various departments with-in the division. Travels to projects within your service territory as required. Using knowledge of the industry, best practices and techniques for the projects you over-see. On occasion you will also be called upon to conduct site reviews and provide guidance for other projects, including disaster recovery for hurricanes, tornado, earthquakes, floods, etc. You will also assist with the capital budget to maximize the use of the asset and to pro-actively complete the projects in a timely manner.

- Experience evaluating the useful life of HVAC equipment.
- Strong knowledge of problem resolution during HVAC unit replacement projects while the retail store is open for business during the replacement project.
- Experience leading projects and meeting project compliance requirements
- Experience designing and implementing ductwork modifications for multi-zone applications.
- Ability to prepare and work within budgets
- Working knowledge of multi-site energy management systems
- Strong organizational, presentation, and business partnering skills
- Ability to multi-task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities with multiple site projects simultaneously
- People leadership skills
- Ability to climb ladders to access/inspect roof top equipment
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience desired
- Ability to travel at least 25% of your time is required
