About this job
Lakewood, Ohio company has an immediate opening in its Surface Grinding department.
$10.00/hour
1st shift. Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm; Monday Friday; Limited O/T.
Temp-to-Hire
Duties include:
Set-up and operate surface grinders (H.S. and Carbide)
Inspect/measure parts using micrometers and comparators
Move stock from shelves/place machined parts back in stock
Perform stock grinding
Check coolant mix using refractometer
Change/Dress grinding wheels
Requirements include:
Familiar with micrometers, comparators, dial indicators, refractometers, hand tools, preferred.
Basic math skills.
Able to read blueprints
Able to lift 30 lbs.
Able to work all day with hands in water
Able to stand 6-8 hours/day
Pre screen testing required
HS diploma/GED required
