Home Instead Senior Care is a team of individuals both locally and globally whose mission and desire is to change the face of aging for seniors and their families. Our team is looking for a Home Care Consultant who loves to sell, embraces challenges, and has passion for educating the community on how Home Instead Senior Care is changing the face of aging for seniors.

About the Position:

            You will be responsible for creating and building relationships with referral providers.  You must have the ability to present the Home Instead Senior Care mission to professional senior care experts. Every day you will be expected to hit the pavement running to find more and more individuals in our community who need to be educated about the non-medical services we provide and that you know will send our organization a qualified lead. While providing education on our services you will be expected to persistently ask for leads from referral providers on how we can help their seniors in need. Every day a senior needs help, multiple seniors are discharged from hospitals and rehabs every week and we want to be sure everyone of them has the opportunity to utilize our services.

 

Experience:

  • Higher education in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or other related field and the willingness to learn the senior care industry
  • And/or higher education in Social Work, Geriatrics, or other related field and the willingness to learn how to sell Home Instead Senior Care services
  • Experience with senior care whether personally or professionally
  • Excellent presentation skills

 

Qualities:

  • Pleasantly persistent cold-call-sales-type person in the form of a senior care expert or soon to be senior care expert
  • Thick skinned, non-dramatic, not shut down by rejection, and doesn’t lose momentum if turned down
  • Possesses a genuine interest in senior care, understands or is willing to learn the evolution and inner-workings of the industry
  • Professional individual all the way around – over the phone, in person, and through writing
  • Confident in speaking to people you don’t know
  • Consistently meets deadlines but doesn’t sacrifice quality
  • Self-motivated, go-getter who excels working independently who also recognizes the value of being part of a team.
  • Knowledgeable of the growing need for non-medical senior care
  • Hungry to attack the market share and make sure we remain the number one choice for the community.

  • History with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher
  • Self-motivated
  • Incredibly organized and detail oriented

  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Able to handle urgent changes and react accordingly

 

This position offers a competitive base salary, incentive pay based on company growth that allows for unlimited income based on successful sales, 401K, partial-paid group health insurance, vacation pay, and a feeling of making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.We believe strongly in creating entrepreneur mindsets within our organization and pay well for it. You will get a comfortable base salary so that you are not considered about surviiving but the incentive based plan will drive the entrepreneur in you.
