Sales Associate - Epic Discovery Activities - Full Time & Part Time

Job Summary: The Epic Discovery Sales Associate is responsible for accuately and efficently processing store sales and summer activity sales through use of a cash register and resort point of sale computer.  Generates sales by establishing professional and personalized rapportwith customrs and delivering world-class guest service.  We are looking for guest service oriented individuals who are positive, outgoing, operate with a high level of computer proficency, have a passion for the outdoors, are well deiciplined and take pride in their work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide customers with highest level of customer service expected for assigned department through professional, courteous and knowledgeable assistance to ensure individualized needs are met with respect to equipment, product, and / or merchandise questions
• Complete sales transactions by accurately and efficiently ringing up customer sales in either retail POS or resort POS
• Ability to learn, understand and efficiently communicate with the guest about multiple product types and can easily adapt to changing pricing and product offerings
• Professionally assist and follow through with resolution of guest complaints; handle concerns and suggestions
• Perform daily sales and closing procedures for both RPOS and Retail systems
• Ability to handle high columes of customer interaction while communicating in a respectful manner
• Responsible for following all company standards in regards to paperwork, cash management and loss prevention
• Remove all sensormatics and hangers from merchandise prior to placing items in bag(s) for customers
• Answer phones courteously and professionally
• Willing to cross train and work in all areas / locations of PSS and Retail
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to work all season (June - September)
• Previous customer service experience - preferred
• Previous cash handling experience - preferred
• Bilingual English / Spanish - preferred
