Established in 1985, our client is a multi-wall Paper Bag Manufacturer with our corporate office and plant located in Beaverton, Oregon. Our client is seeking a technically savvy candidate for the position of Customer Service Representative.

Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison between the Company and its customer base, handling all aspects of customer service. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective communication between the Company and its present and potential customers
  • Establish and maintain customer history/files
  • Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services
  • Prepare and follow-up on price quotations
  • Enter sales orders
  • Prepare order status and inventory reports to customers on stocking programs
  • Follow up with customers on orders after shipment made
  • Contact and solicit orders from previous customers
  • Handle and resolve complaints
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High proficiency in ACT! Software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Illustrator)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution sector is highly preferable
