Job Description:

Home Depot Product Authority LLC, a Home Depot company, is hiring Staff Software Engineers to research and design cutting edge software products and contribute to software testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation. Work independently on significant and unique issues and write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services and test cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions. Utilize broad expertise and unique knowledge to contribute to the development of innovative solutions including technical review of code, infrastructure, data and message processing. Provide technical leadership to junior engineers/developers. Act independently to determine methods, procedures, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In connection with the duties above, utilize experience in the following skills: developing large-scale, high-quality solutions with IBM’s Sterling order management platform; object-oriented design; leading a team of developers and helping manager their daily priorities and work artifacts; Java development; mentoring developers in IBM core technologies and object-oriented development; learning new technologies and integrating those new technologies with the existing architecture.
