About this job

The Account Executive is responsible for securing, obtaining, managing and growing medium and large business-to-business (B2B) sales for accounts within defined territory, including property managers, single and multi-family builders, hospitality, education, etc. This role position is responsible for obtaining sales from new and existing customer accounts and is serves as the primary point of contact for all business sales-related issues including pricing, product selection, ordering, and solution planning. This position works closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure customers post-sale requirements are being met. This role conducts sales activities at the customer's place of business. The Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales and managing with the sales accounts of medium to large accounts with a local, statewide or regional footprint. The Account Executive will generate at least $2.5M in annual sales.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Achieves and maintains acceptable sales performance goals
  • Secures, manages and grows new and existing accounts sales by communicating and surfacing new products, services, and opportunities to business customers at their place of business
  • Works with Customer Experience team to ensure post-sale customer needs are met, including ordering and issue resolution
  • Ensures profitability of each assigned account
  • Manages travel and other customer-related expenses
  • Leverages SalesForce.com to manage customer accounts and opportunities
  • Travels to customers location
  • Engages builder customers and sells them on the benefits of buying their appliances through Sears Commercial
  • Develops new business target list, strategy and tactics for new account acquisition, conduct meetings, presentations, site visits, produces quotes and closes product sales to new business in a specific geographic sales area
  • Customarily and regularly identifies and initiates contact with key buying influences within target accounts to develop long-term business relationships and produce quotes and quality orders
  • Generates new account acquisition, relationship selling offsite, and engages in the selling process with the customer
  • Maintains knowledge of local trends, understands how Sears Commercial products and services can be successfully positioned within the market which presenting new products and buying solutions to the customer
  • Writes sales contracts for customer
  • Manages travel and other customer-related expenses

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Level Degree
