Job Summary: This maintenance position is seasonal under the Mountain division at the Park City Resort. Responsibilities include, however are not limited to, weed whacking, mowing, common area maintenance, painting, and general maintenance projects. Previous landscaping and maintenance experience in a resort or commercial area preferred along with knowledge of mowers and bobcats. Heavy lifting and working outdoors in inclement weather are required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform entry level unskilled general labor.
  • May include moving, handling, hauling, loading and unloading, digging, shoveling, chopping, clearing, mowing, trimming, seeding, snow removal, recycling, composting, trash removal, simple repairs, water treatment, cleaning and maintenance.
  • Use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, picks, axes, clippers to achieve results.
  • Work outdoors during inclement weather.
  • Troubleshoot and make repairs with minimum assistance; prioritizing according to departmental goals.
  • Document repairs, labor and materials accurately on work orders.
  • Assist supervisor in researching and ordering parts to complete projects and work orders; order and maintain required parts for stock.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain facilities and equipment to ensure proper working order; involvement in emergency decisions and procedures.
  • Willingness to adjust schedule to accommodate business needs.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Experience with grounds and building maintenance.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
