- Provides fast friendly customer service by processing/handling customer orders in an efficient, accurate, safe and courteous manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cashiers and Customer Service Center employees must accurately record customer transactions and accurately handle monetary transactions by operating a cash register (POS system).
- Courtesty Clerks/Baggers bag groceries, assist customers to their vehicles, reshelve merchandise and perform other duties as needed.
- Assists customers in locating merchandise and engages in suggestive selling.
- Stocks merchandise as needed.
- Communicates with others in a polite and professional manner.
- Cleans work areas as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Customer Service Skills.
- Regular attendance required.
- Mental alertness required.
- Basic Math skills and operation of register required for Cashier and Customer Service Positions.
- Lifts, manipulates, pushes and pulls items of varying sizes up to 30 pounds.
- Bends and stoops, twists and turns
- Standing for long periods of time is required.
- Baggers work in both a climate controlled and outdoor environment and walking is required.
