JOB: Retail Clerk – Administrative (Bookkeeping, Receiver, Scan Clerk)

JOB OVERVIEW
  • Provides fast friendly customer service. Performs administrative functions, may handle payroll and personnel functions, hang shelf tags and interface with vendors, depending on role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Bookkeeper role may handle financial accounting, personnel matters including payroll, orientation and training, corrective action, and records retention depending on location.
  • Receiver receives product interfaces with drivers and vendors and accounts for missing, damages or surplus merchandise.
  • Scan position ensures scan and price accuracy, hangs tags, and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Operates computer programs and relevant systems.
  • Cleans work areas as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong Customer Service Skills.
  • Prior administrative or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills, and strong customer service and communication skills required.
  • Familiarity with computer programs and Excel preferred.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Mental alertness required.
  • Lifts, manipulates, pushes and pulls items of varying sizes of 20-50 pounds, depending on position.
  • Bends and stoops, twists and turns.
  • Sitting, standing and walking required depending on role.
