Summary

 

Work directly with production department to improve processes and procedures related to collection and reporting of operations data.  Through team collaboration, identify opportunities for eliminating non-value added time within various administrative tasks. Develop and implement tools for improving management effectiveness of data analysis, decision making, and plan execution. Act as communication conduit between company departments and personnel.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Provide decision making tools, analytical support, and performance feedback to management
  • Identify and eliminate wasteful time within current production related process and procedures 
  • Assist management with identification, investigation, and correction of production related variances
  • Create and maintain BOM structure and accuracy
  • Facilitate companywide support resources to improve department utilization
  • Create performance reports to streamline analysis-to-action process and effectiveness
  • Follow safety policies and privacy procedures when handling company data

Requirements / Education / Experience

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required for this position
  • Previous experience in an operational support capacity may be preferred
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills when interacting with staff, clients, or external partners
  • Must be a highly organized individual that can multitask on several different projects at the same time
  • Ability to work well in a team setting, be results-oriented, and work effectively on their own with minimal supervision

 

Physical Environment

 

  • Frequent walking, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, standing, extending arms to reach, etc.
  • Able to work in dusty, small, noisy, hot and cold environments
