About this job
Provide friendly superior customer service and assistance. Assists Pricing Coordinator in maintaining scan/tag accuracy of all shelf items in Grocery - GM/HBC - Beer/Wine - Produce - and Meat departments. Ensure price integrity throughout the store - including but not limited to tearing - sorting and hanging tags - order missing tags - update and maintain scan system as necessary. Verifies all tags and signs. Every questionable item must be researched and corrected. Hang all signs for advertised specials. Verify prices on tags with ad. Catalog new item tags until product reaches the store. 6 months of experience in retail pricing or Randalls / Tom Thumb Front -end experience. Standing for extended periods of time. Working in a busy environment. Independent mobility within the store. Standing for six to eight hours. Occasionally stooping and crouching to reach merchandise in display and/or stock area.
