About this job

The Manager of Caregiver Program Operations provides supervision, coordination and management for the Caregiver SOS family caregiver program under the WellMed Charitable Foundation. The program is available across the enterprise to ensure the delivery of high quality caregiver services. This position provides supervision, development and mentoring, evaluation and management of staff. This position works closely with WellMed clinics and network to develop and implement responses to the needs of a family caregivers, and ensure access to services in person, over the telephone and online. The position ensures awareness and understanding of available caregiver services in key markets. The position also develops and monitors program standards and policies.
 
Primary Responsibilities


Positions in this function are responsible for facing the public and engaging potential patients in our services. They are tied to a Healthcare Delivery system and are responsible for helping engage Volunteers and / or work with the Community

Manages and is accountable for professional employees and / or supervisors

Impact of work is most often at the local level
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications 


Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Social Services, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (8 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree)

Five or more years progressive experience in social service program operations, health care administration, or community-based program operation, including 3-4 years of supervisory experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with tight deadlines while paying close attention to the details of all deliverables

Previous experience communicating with senior leaders internal / external to the organization

Proficiency in basic computer systems and applications

Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to thrive in a collaborative, high performance and action-oriented team environment

Basic level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills an ability to balance multiple priorities

Ability to develop and present comprehensive reports

Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) in a professional manner

Knowledge of organization policies and procedures and ability to apply principles to solve everyday problems in a variety of situations

Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, decision-making
Preferred Qualifications


Master’s Degree in Gerontology, Social Services, Health Care administration

More than five years directly related to the administration of social service programs

Three or more years of supervisory experience
