Construction Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1.             Procurement and Management of Supplies for New Builds, Remodels, and Replacements

To manage and execute an efficient, cost effective and timely supply of Furniture, Fixtures, Signage, Lighting, National Accounts and Kitchen Equipment

  • Manage vendors
  • Review and approve vendor proposals
  • Place and process purchase orders
  • Ensure that procurement process is fully integrated with project tracking
  • Develop and implement vendor contracts
  • Manage inventory of all FF&E from bulk purchases to deployment
  • Manage shipping and logistics from vendors to project sites
  • Set up warehousing to consolidate inventory
  • Manage quality assurance issues
2.             Vendor Network Monitoring

Continuously assess performance and expand network to meet the needs of the business

  • Monitor cost to ensure adherence to negotiated cost structure
  • Identify the need for, implement, and monitor vendor performance improvement initiatives as necessary.
  • Investigate and implement replacement or additional vendors as needed
3.             Innovation

Ensure that we are on the cutting edge of leveraging new technology, sources, and materials

  • Explore new materials, manufacturing, and deployment methods to maximize value and reliability. 

Relevant Skills, Knowledge & Ability:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement and/or Logisitics
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams
  • Management of and responsibility for financial reports
  • Financial Management
