Hogan is currently seeking a Fleet Manager for our Taylor, MI facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Daily management of driver managers and drivers. Daily dispatching and monitoring loads, planning daily routes to maximize utilization while maintaining high Level of Service, DOT compliance, scheduling preventive equipment maintenance, weekly KPI reporting, ensuring accurate and timely driver payroll entry, driver coaching and any other duties determined by Area and Regional Manager

Responsibilities: Daily/Weekly Execution
Following up with each manager on the below

• Tracking and tracking trucks – all loads are done
• Driver payroll and accurate no overpayments
• Scheduling equipment maintenance
• Ensuring DOT compliance
• Review Fatigue reports
• Review unassigned drive time
• HOS violations
• Hard Brake counseling
• Accident (participate on monthly safety call)
• Unapproved logs
• Current CDL’s/physicals
• Dispatching
• All loads are covered and on time if any issues
• KPI reporting to customers
• Customer communication
  • Address and solve any issues
• Driver retention and customer satisfaction
  • Address any driver complaints issues
  • Oversee driver documentation and counseling
• Travel based on need
• Includes new start-ups or any travel/training Regional deems necessary up to 25%

Requirements

• College degree preferred but not required with 5 plus years transportation supervisory experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Mathematical competency
• Excellent communication skills

• Solid self-organizational skills
• Detailed and ability/desire to follow detailed instructions.
• Self-starter possessing drive to archive results.
• Willingness to work extensive, long-hours and to be on-call during off hours

• Ability to work in individualized and team atmosphere
• Ability to deal with ever changing environment
